🧰 Spotlight: Canva Websites

One simple Canva site becomes the link you share everywhere.

How do you make an impact with Canva… when updates are spread across five places and families still can’t find the info?

You’re a classroom teacher or instructional coach trying to build a simple website for a school project or professional learning session.

Sure, you could build it all in Google Workspace… but

By the time you finish the slides, handouts, links, and downloads, and then open Google Sites to make it shareable, you’ve lost more time than you wanted.

Google Sites is solid. It’s still one of my favorite website builders for teachers and coaches.

But recently I learned how to use Canva Websites to build simple, one-page “landing page” style sites for presentations and classroom projects.

In today’s weekly digital learning issue, we explore how to build a clean, scannable classroom website in under an hour.

The 3-minute move (build your site structure)

Open Canva → Websites and build four pages:

  • Home: welcome + quick links
  • Schedule: weekly agenda
  • Resources: Classroom, docs, links
  • Contact: how to reach you

Publish using the free Canva URL.

Real examples (so you can picture it)

Here are three live Canva website examples that show what “simple + scannable” can look like:
