📚#003 — Build a Master Assignment Library

How do you make an impact… when you are rebuilding the same assignments every semester?

Let’s face it—Google Classroom is one of our favorite apps, and most of us use it every day. But it’s not always ideal for teachers with limited time, especially if you’re like me, managing 10 classes across different subjects and grade levels.

Most teachers I know are not short on good ideas.

They are short on time.

So instead of “working harder,” let’s build a system that allows you to reuse your best work—on purpose—without taking up precious prep period minutes.

The 3-minute move (do this once)

Build a “Template Class” in Google Classroom.

  1. Create a new class called: TEMPLATES or DEMO CLASS
  2. Add your weekly assignments in this Classroom.
  3. When you need one, go to your real class:
    • Classwork → + CreateReuse post
    • Select your TEMPLATES class
    • Pick the assignment
    • Check: Create new copies of all attachments

That is it. You just turned next semester into a few clicks.
