Hello Reader,
Many years ago, I worked at a local office supply store selling pens, staplers, and computer equipment. Each year around this time, they ran commercials where parents were in the store riding shopping carts singing the song "It's the most wonderful time of the year."
To be honest, for many educators, this is the most wonderful time of the year. The school year is new, the class rosters are fresh, and there is a ton of potential for the upcoming school year.
No matter if you are back in the classroom or still have a few weeks of warm weather in front of you, I'm sure that by now you have started thinking about the upcoming school year.
Let's jump in to this new school year together to learn how we can build healthy relationships with our staff and students.

For the last 10 years, "Ask the Tech Coach" has been a podcast where we have supported Instructional Coaches in their roles as professional learning providers and classroom support professionals, but how often do we stop to think about what it looks like from the teachers perspective?
In this weeks podcast, Instructional Coach Allison Peterson and High School English Teacher, Diane Manser discuss strategies for that both coaches and teachers can do to create a successful professional relationship this year!
Write - Speak - Draw | Why is Google Keep Perfect for Coaches?
When creating an effective organizational system, it's important to have both a "short term" and "long term" memory system. Your "short term" system is the method or application that you can quickly write things down in the moment for organizing later.
One of my favorite applications for keeping my "short term" tasks and thoughts organized is Google Keep. Learn how you an use Google Keep to keep track of your daily tasks today!
Develop Your Data Dashboard BEFORE the School Year Starts!
Last week, I launched my brand new "Instructional Coaches Data Dashboard and Command Center. I can't believe the tremendous support that I have had from coaches across the country who have purchased and begun using the platform.
Two years ago, I first learned about an application called Notion and it completely transformed my professional world by allowing me to organize my calendar, staff interactions, and the resources that I provide to my teachers.
This week, I am thrilled to share another brand new notion template that will help your entire Digital Learning Department stay organized and build efficiency this year.
In 2012, I created a podcast called "Ask the Tech Coach." The concept was to help Instructional Coaches and Digital Learning Leaders by answering their question. If you have any questions that you would like me to answer personally, address on a future newsletter, or discuss on the podcast, please feel free to reach out anytime!
I appreaciate your questions, your feedback, and for being a part of this community!
If there is anything that I can do to help or support you, please don't hesitate to contact me through the links below.
Until next time,
Keep up the great work in your classrooms, and continue sharing your passions, with your students.
